This Monday's yoga class was one that was very special to me, as I introduced my students to an exercise program that originated from Tibetan monks that are known by many to be a fountain-of-youth.
It takes about 10-15 minutes a day to perform and should be done in the same sequence as yoga; sunset or sunrise. That is when the body performs better. Now understanding today's
busy schedule, I think it can be done when you have a chance, but do make sure to start very slow and perform at most 21 of each exercise.
If you do more than 21, then it would be detrimental to your chakras and endocrine system. They are 5 exercises that were derived from yoga. The Tibetan monks from the Himalayas modified it in their manner.
Benefits from this include, but are not limited to:
looking younger, sleeping deeply, having energy, helps your joints, reduces pain from arthritis, weight loss, restores vision, strength
and most importantly emotional and mental health.
Please note that you may experience detoxification and have some small side effects; just as in yoga. You must take it slow and gradually work up the repetitions.
If you have heart problems, multiple sclerosis,
Parkinson's Disease, severe arthritis of the spine, uncontrolled blood pressure, a hyperthyroid condition or vertigo, in addition to taking drugs that cause dizziness, than please consult with your doctor before starting these exercises.
I look forward in having you join my class so you can learn The Five Tibetan Rites and make it a daily practice in your life.
